You need to farm NM Meph for your gear uprades like Gface/Arreats, IK pieces, Gores/WT. Also, find 2 x Lem and make a Treachery for yourself and Lawbringer for A5 merc. This will make Hell manageable. Also, hope you kept that Bonesnap. Upping that would likely double your damage.

Just found Gore Riders though! Not sure if to wear those or the 64 life Waterwalkers.

I found a shaftstop and another Tal helmet... decided to give hell a try. Resists are so-so, just about capped poison and capped fire, 30ish cold/light.

Monsters take forever to kill. I should have definitely kept the bonesnap, even though I think it was really low ED. I'll have to farm Meph a bunch still before I can whoop hell. Ahh

This reminds me of pre-LOD Diablo 2, where everyone ran a WW Barb and lances were the elite of the elite.



Found the Gores only 2 runs of Baal on p7 after my first-kill! They're 171% or something like that.

Not ready for hell yet. Since this screenshot I've ran Mephisto about 100 times. Players 5, 270 MF. Found nadda.

Gambled a bunch, crafted 7-8 rings/amulets to no avail. I'm not sure what my options are... Have to just farm Meph until I get a Ravenfrost and some other upgrades, or maybe I should keep on farming Baal. Wave 2 gives me a hell of a lot of problems, though, because the cold mages + decr. really do a number on me. It takes me about 5-10 minutes just to clear that one wave! I was hoping to find a CBF item, like Raven, off Meph so I can then run Baal quicker, because Baal on p7 just sits there (thanks to my Merc's slow) and is super easy to kill.

If I played this game more within the last five years, I would have remembered this situation. I probably wouldn't have gone into swords, or vendored off good non-sword weapons. The one thing my mind and body do remember is running bosses.... just countlessly running bosses. I can't do it forever like I used to a decade ago. I only ever sit down for 5-10 Meph runs and call it good for a session.

Now I know why so many of you have multiple WTs going on at once!

Duriel's armor can be a nice supplement for CBF until you can get a Ravenfrost to drop but I still think Treachery is much better if you find the Lem.
A respec for more HP and changing some things around for more LR would be ideal changes to prepare for Hell.
Also elite polearms can drop in NM WSK.
