I went ahead and cleared my way to Pits.



The XP in here is awesome! I hit 80 during my first clear. Spamming bone prison like crazy keeps me pretty safe, but my low damage makes every fight tricky.



Facet drop.

Crap but still a cool find. I think this is the first facet I've ever found in SP



I would love this for a Harmony if I was planning on running LK.



Ding 81. Getting about 1/2 to 1/3 of a level per clear right now, and each clear takes about 10-15 minutes.

New merc armor, I love that flat damage reduction.

Ding 82.

Even with the +15 str from GFace, my merc would need to be lvl 90 to use this, so I didn't keep it. Getting closer though!



Considered keeping this to make an Obedience, but at this point I'm really not using my merc for anything but Insight + Holy Freeze so the extra damage would be somewhat worthless to me.



Cubed this 3os Mage Plate, will hold onto it for now in case I don't find a better base for my Bone runeword armor.

Ding 83. Upgrades have been slow coming so far, but I've found some nice charms, and the XP is so good I don't really mind.



Another +necro amulet. I kind of like these stats, but it's not quite there.



Ding 84.

Grabbed this white Archon Plate, will try to cube it for 3os. My plan is to eventually use a Spirit Monarch so the str requirement won't be a big deal. I've only seen one Monarch drop so far, and it was blue



Ding 85. Switched some charms around, hence the lower res.

4os!!! It's not eth but it will still be a nice upgrade. Holding on to this for now.

My goal was to hit 86 before I went to sleep, and it was taking longer than I expected, so I was tired. I was watching a movie at the same time, so I was distracted. I had been clearing the Pits with no problem, so I was starting to get cocky. Really shitty combination when you're playing hardcore p8...

The monster that killed me was Cold + Fire + Light enchanted so it was doing crazy elemental damage. I had my teleport staff out so my already mediocre resists were even lower due to not having my Rhyme necro head out. I tried to teleport past them but my cast got interrupted and they swarmed me. I was dead before I could even think about hitting ESC due to sleepy reaction time.

At this point, I thought long and hard about this goal. Will Guardian forever be out of reach? Should I just accept that I suck at this game and uninstall?

No!!!
