well, i checked ias calc and they both can reach the max zeal speed with off weapon ias but the rare can get there with 15ias/second mod jewels. Also, ignore target def doesn't effect big bosses. Ultimately, any time a rare competes with a unique, it's stylishly better.



I'm going to try. I don't have big stash and Um is Um for me. But I want to up it.

I don't know, seb. You want us to find eth repair with those good mods. Maybe bot but it would be incredibly hard for bot to get that weapon. But in PvM, we can't bot or trade for items...all self-found.

Tgods or what have you.
Treachery armor 45ias
Any rings.

What do you get with the rare weapon assuming 20 fanat:
80 ias reaches max smite speed. (with LOH you get 90+ ias which is max zeal)
90 cb
60 ds
life tap

Big point here, IAS is not important in Bone Bite weapon because the other items are standard uber fare and give max ias break points. I'm sorry, seb, 90cb/60ds/80-90 ias seems great good in rare weapon with much more real damage for smiter/zealer (1point zeal)
PB has sucky base damage which won't help much with ed , cb , ds and leech enhancement.

Well, there are several folks here in PvM that are moving to rare's only or some hybrid of it. We will see fit to post what ever we feel is trophy. Kind of silly to compare runewords to rares, all runewords are out of whack. If you were going to make your case, you should have chosen a pally scepter unique to challenge the rare item. They are much better than Light Saber and comparable and probably better.

2nd, rws being better than rares makes rares not trophies. Not the other way.
I repeat, go ahead and post your stuff but don't pretend it's good when people explain it's not
