Hobbes' Journey to Perfection

Baal runs until level 99 or death. I have not decided which player setting this will be on yet, I will start at p3 and adjust accordingly. I only have 64% MF (Gheed's + CoH), but I'd rather do faster/safer runs than stack MF at least until I hit 99.

Character goals:
Level 99
6k average DPS for Summon Grizzly (current is 5600)
As much fire damage as I can squeeze out of Fire Claws (current is 2900... Can I hit 4k?!)
Maintain 3500+ hp throughout all gear changes (will be losing some 20 life scs for skill gcs... I hope. Also will be losing 40 enhanceable life from Dwarf Star)

Item goals:
Mara's
5/-5 Fire facet
Summon and/or Shapeshift GCs (especially with life)
20 life SCs with resistance or damage mods
6/6/x CTA (current is 5/5/4)
50% Aldur's boots (current are 48%)
5% BK ring (none currently)
Ethereal Reaper's Toll (merc)
1300+ defense eth SA Treachery (merc)
Tyrael's just because

Tyvm! I've never had a level 99 on HC before. Never had a 99 on single player either. In fact, I've never had a level 99 since patch 1.09 on battle.net when it only took a week or two of hell cow runs...

I'm hoping to get a Mara's pretty quickly, because I've seen my resistances with Conviction on and Fire is in the high 40's even with Aldur's boots I guess that answers my question about shield socket... it will remain Um'd for long-term safety!

Same! So far it's fun but about 105mil until level 94 o.o

I wanted to show what the runs are like so I took this video. This is p3. I meant to take it of all the waves + Baal but I forgot to hit record until the beginning of the 2nd wave...

It’s not nearly as slow as I’d imagined

The runs from entering game to a dead Baal are about 6 minutes. It's pretty slow but I really enjoy it so it's not bad I had to make one last little post before bed because... you'll see!

I thought about adding "Collect all unique pelts" to the goals list, but I didn't want to restrict my stash space like that




I said I wanted a Mara's really soon...

...Yeah... !!! I can't believe my luck, it's a sign that I must continue with Hobbes! Obviously I will be needing an upgrade, but at least this puts my resistances after Conviction at 68 now. I still use a 15 resist all GC that I'd like to replace with a skiller someday too.
