I spent ~4 million gold on trying to get a Stygian Pike, and even cruel mod did not spawn on any Trident or Fuscina. So, i was unlucky with getting this type of Pike but i think that the cruel mod cant spawn on it, even after rerolling with 3 P Gems recipe (not at my lvl), but even one with 2 os will be good, so i will try 3 Flawless G recipe. Thus, no Stygian Pike till now.

2nd 15 IAS jewel, and the best jewel so far.

Well, you will need luck getting your merc some really good stuff since he can use anything. P8 is really hard with blue stuff, gotta kite alot, howl/taunt, I am also using war cry and grim ward, I find grim ward a very usefull skill for this challenge, it really covers ur back...
Whirlwind is nice too for leach escape and crowds...

Thanks. For my merc i need some runes to make a good weapon, because i dont use mf, so the chances for good uniques are very low. As merc's armor i think i will use Treachery. If in Hell it will be too hard, i will use howl/ taunt/ grim ward etc.
