I never get lucky on arcane with slow killers, lol 3rd way I think


Skeles did fine against duriel.. Just took a long time (the players 3 here was rebuiling summons)

Poison is horrible for my summons

I got a lot of nice stats/mods on ammys but nothing for a necro.. But I cant really complain I gambled a lot of nice ammys through this classic adventure




Not sure wtf I was tihnking here, this ring is complete shit with no resist. lol

Until I realized I would lose all my summons switching acts... lol

I think right around the kurast area is when I hit them major wall I hit with my amazon.. and I felt it a lot here.. I ended up turning it down to players 3
Special mob packs, especially the tree guys.. brambled hulk? or whatever were destroying my summons so quickly, even on players 3 I was losing several quickly..
It is disappointing to me but I saw this coming. Classic is just alittle to broken for a summon necro. I am a huge support with bone spear at this point.
Also - I wasnt really having fun grinding so slowly on P8 which is another reason I let it go. Its all about fun!

Mephy went down in 1 rotation, as far as 1 group of summons til death.. But barely!

Izzy went down like a fat sack.. I think my revived souls were tearing him up



Progress was fairly decent since trav, Not a complete headache the whole way now

I realize that this wasnt completed on players 8.. and I gave up towards the end of act 3.. but!

This was said earlier but im putting it here as well.
Another HUGE thing is the fact that corpse explosion is broken, and only does /players 1 damage on any setting.. So even on players 3 it takes several CE's to clear a crowd.. On players 8 it was borderline useless because I need all the corpses I could get to re spawn my summons

I challenge anyone to complete a classic players 8 necro on hell difficulty.. in fact ill even spice it up,
If somone provides video evidence of all gear/stats/skills and completing travincal and from River of Flame to Diablos death(in hell obviously) Ill dump 1k FG into your account If you complete it with a summon or summon hybrid. Anyone that has the patience to clear hell chaos with a 360 damage bone spear deserves it! lol
I honestly dont think its possible to complete act 4 hell on a summon necro on classic.
I will make a seperate post about this challenge to see if it sparks any interest.. I am genuinely curious if anyone has the patience to do this!

On another note.. I do wish to get him lvl 80, and will probably do so in hell cows since its so much easier without all the curses and elements attacking my summons.

I am just Happy I kinged/queened every char.. and almost made it with every character on players 8 on this broken version of diablo 2 =)

Thanks for reading! I may have some updates in the future with his journey to lvl 80 but for now, I am gonna take a break.. and maybe consider starting an x pac walk through.. I DO have 3 empty spots on my character select screen so we shall see! (Minus the SC paladin) lol
