2nd try, more careful, was ez then.

Thought i could try meph (on p5...),
with my new bow and lvl 72.
He killed my valk pretty quick, and merc also ate alot of dmg,
but meph got also down very quick.
Think im gonna do more runs on Monday.

Haha, yes i am too. Glad there are readers, since i think im not a good story teller

I wasnt sure if i should play a quick normal baal killer to unlock hc,
but i decided that i want to play SC, due to a lot of things i dont remember in 1.09.
And i dont want to lose my char and feel like a noob afterwards. :rolleyes:

So i'll do meph runs for gear upgrades. Thats my plan.

Ok, i cannot decide.
Plan would be gaze or maybe gulli, pretty much depends on what drops first.
So, 2shael+1amn or 2amn+1shael (or stealskull if 2amn+1shael and a 15ias jewel..???)
btw, replacing the old 308 combined dmg pike from post # hm, seems like i didnt have posted a SS. Its an 292 ed pike i shopped.
btw i lost pike from post #51 with a d2 error or something... :wallbash:

I think i go 1amn+1shael first and wait until i got a good helm.
Well, for now i just go 1amn.... there is no shael stashed. :wacko:

I also need a shael for my 2soc Grim shield.

First run with Hone Sundan (1x Amn, 2 free sockets).
Meph was ridicolous easy on p8. Merc could tank him easily
AND
this buggy CB in 1.09 is wrecking him down in seconds.

To be honest,
i dont care about stats

Must have been something between 20 and 40 runs today i guess B)#
204mf on killing java side,
179 on bow side

I know you have skulders/arkanes written down as your goal chest armor. But consider Twitchthroe. You need 55 ias for the second to last breakpoint on Titans. And twitch + 2/20 gloves + 15ias/15 max jewel gets you there. 25 Chance of blocking is awesome. +10 str/dex is great. And 20 fhr is nothing to scoff at.

Also plus to skills aren't all that great for you. Check out how much your lightning frenzy damage goes up with +1 skills. It's almost nothing. I go from 665-1254 to 681-1270 lightning fury damage or a combined 32 damage. And unless you go chacing down Windforce (don't) you are going to be spending most of your time in cows once you get a few more key pieces of gear. At which point resistance and surviability isn't all that important and max block will do you more good anyways.

I think cat's eye is better than Highlords. Deadly strike isn't that useful for you. The +1 skills doesn't do much. +25 dex will help bow side more. And 30 frw will speed up your cow runs more than anything Highlords Wrath gives. The only think Highlords really has going for it in 1.09 is the lightning resist.

In conclusion. Go max block and get a sweet twitchthroe. For gear I would go Vamp Gaze + Twitch + Titans + Buriza + mosers/lidless +2/20 gloves + razortail + war travs + Raven + Manald (you need mana leach) + cat's eye. Put the highest ED jewel you can find in the buriza. With twitch + cat's eye. you won't need to put an IAS jewel i your equipment. And put an Ort in your helm and Twitch. And either put 2x Um or 2x Ort in your Moser's if you ever find one. Honestly Lightning enchanted monsters are the only scary monsters in the 1.09.

Personally I hit level 99 before I could find a Ravenfrost or Cat's Eye so I ended up using could never find a Nagel for some extra MF and Crescent Moon for the masive mana leach. I never really had to worry about my mana reserves which was nice.

shaft/gladiators bane
Honor eth thresher or any other high dmg wpn -> Hone sundan - done

What to gem into Mercs hone sundan?
I prefered amn amn shael, but with amn eth shael he doesnt miss anymore, however double amn doubles his LL. Double shael gives another ias bp. Why cant this have 5sockets.
I cant decide.

Dmg increase 22%, 360ar (5ar/lvl).
but dropping from 12frames to16frames.
Damagewise it would probably be better, due to better hit chance, but...
crossbows are so fucking slow, will try it but then stash it.
