I cleared most of chaos and then did a bunch of gambling and left my game open for a few days
needless to say, it decided it needed to do an update and I had to close the game, so I sortof cheated a little bit by walking chaos twice
that's sort of a big deal if you're keeping track at home, since it gave me almost a whole extra level there, so I'm 36 instead of 35
half the reason I'm doing it like this is to see what level you would get to without reruns. in the greater scheme one normal run won't make much of a difference, and there is variability to which monsters spawn in later difficulties, so there's not much of a
strict basis after normal mode.

merc got blasted and died like a storm trooper
made myself an ancients pledge towershield, though I probably could have done without it, it will be nice to have in nm mode.
I used entirely too many potions during this battle. normal diablo scares the shit out of me, I've lost more hc toons to him than anything else.
