One tip on non-bossl monsters

If your merc does the killing, spam telekinesis. It knocks them back/stuns them. Helps a shitload.

This strategy will be pretty hard whilst being in nm/hell since static is cut off by half.

Also without passion (even with only 3 or 4 swings) it won't be a zeal sorc at all :[

My merc is still helping a lot but my dmg is higher than his right now. He's a bit faster tho... we seem to be even
But big thanks for the tip. I guess that could help in NM when there will be more fire immunes! Will definitely give it

I'm using pretty much using no static atm. Sometimes vs bosses.
But an easy 50% life loss sounds still pretty nice to me

Of course, a Zeal-Sorc without Passion won't be possible, but I never talked about a Zeal-Sorc but about a Melee-Sorc. A Zeal-Sorc is one
way to to it, but imo not for a SP selffounf WT. With traded gear, I would love to give it a try.
If I manage to get the right gear, I will consider passion again

Diablo

Now it's time for Diablo. Managed to reach a level up by killing the rest of Infestors minions.
Got to this point pretty fast, thanks to static. But his lighting attack was
a real threat. It was capable to instakill my merc and I had to run like Usain Bolt everytime
he targeted me with it.


I stopped resurrecting merc after 2-3 kills and decided to do the rest all by myself.
Nice colors, right? I never realized that Diablo does cold dmg...
Last few hitpoints took some time but I finally managed to kill him and took a deep breath :D.


Thats what he left me. I got my own little hawkmail... I think I saw this one dropping
in like every WT around here
Went straight on merc. I stick with my stealth for now.
All the rares were crap, I don't annoy you with them
And that is the end of act 4.

Act 4 Normal accomplished
summary:
level when starting: 30
level when finishing: 35
close to death: twice - a fire enchanted boss nearly killed me by dying and diablos lighting attack gace me a close call, too.
tough spots: beginning of the act, seis, infestor and diablo.
remarkable drops: Hawkmail (Diablo), 40% lighting resist amu (Izual)
comment: The Sorc really works well right now. My favorite sound is 'boing' everytime she blocks a hit. No problems to
survive in random play situations. Damage is now high enough to quit using static vs normal mobs. Ofc there were still tough spots :).
Onwards to act 5 now

Act 5 Normal


Before actually starting act 5 I decided to use the nice 3 sock flail I found back in A 3.
Visited countess a handfull of time to get the Rals.


With the fresh weapon in my hand, I went to break the siege of Hargorath.
The Bloody Foothills were really funny. Reminded me of the Bloodruns back in the days
Absolutely easy here.

Will use the Socket Quest later... no good drop from Shenk.

nice progress. didnt have much faith in you beating diablo. at melee range he is really a beast

Isn't Cain supposed to stand on the other side of the central building next to the WP?
I like his position from b.net much more

Because I did nor have enough time to make it to the next WP I decided to run Meph a bit.
Obe Run takes about 40 seconds *g
Nothing special but this helmet... basicly a 2 sock helmet with some usefull adds.
Did not need the resists right now, bit will be usefull in NM.


Did a couple of countess runs, too. Nothing special dropped...
But at one run... she just wasn't there... dunno why... never had this bug before.
The two superior chests on the way down to her I usually click on disappeared, too...

Eldritch... no drop.


people in Harogath told me, there was some illegal cagefighting going on in the Frigid Highlands.
Brought that to an end
Their doorman couldn't stop me.


A lot of boss monsters around here... felt like meeting the most in act 5.
