nice guide. i've been using a lightning sorc for mfing and key running this ladder. i started with a similar setup to you, but recently i saw a suggestion for another setup, and i've found it works extremely well for me. i can mf anywhere with it, and haven't died once since switching. i'm just offering it as a suggestion/alternative because i was surprised by it's strength. here ya go..

hoto/stormshield
cta/spirit on switch
shako w/ ptopaz
tals armor (w/ ptopaz), ammy, belt
chancies
treks or travs (i use rare boots w/ resists, mf, etc)
dwarfstar + wisp (though i've been using a raven for lack of a wisp) -- swap one for natures peace when running for hate keys
torch, anni, a few skill gcs, FHR and resist sc's

holy freeze merc with infinity ca, eth boneweave fort, and eth bv dream

at lvl 90, she has ~1750 life, 74/75/75/~50 resists, about 22-23k dmg, around 400mf, 49% block, and about half of a free inventory. i know she only has 70fcr and around 20fhr, but now i run baal and nihlathak without dying randomly and losing xp. also, it's not too expensive of a setup, but just make sure to get good gear for your merc.

btw, if you run for hate keys with your setup, i found it necessary to have plenty of fhr so the lizards aren't a problem.

i hope posting all of that in you thread wasn't inappropriate.

if u got 1 pt to warmth and like 5 lite gcs ur already at like 3 mana per tele and warmth regerates more than that so ur rings are solely ur opinion

Even now I remember, your main attacks use quite of alot more then teleport..

i would suggest a perfect light eschutas socketed with 5/5 facet, you can get resistances easily from the rest of your gear so with eshutas you would have

+3 to sorceress skill levels
+40% FCR
+25% light damage
-5% enemy light resistance
+30 to energy

anything else you have on a hoto other then the fcr and +skills is super easy to get somewhere else

I had a pvm light sorc that did 54k light damage, had over 100 to all resists (in hell), i hit the fcr bp, and i could duel successfully against many char builds.

i agree with you, this guide looks awesome, i may fix it myself what looks better in my eyes

very nice basicguide - can be twinked for different needs (like sojs for baal/lvling - nagels for just mfing - one is not better than the other - they just have differnt uses)

Nice guide except the lack of DR.

IMO, there are better light build for PVM
