recent patch, 1.12, did not effect any bugs that I am aware of.

also, the reason i ask is because i have read in almost all locations that Classic is the only place you can bug the game for drops....is this true?

Andy bug still works afaik in 1.12. There were no bug fixes except a Mac technical issue.

Other bosses can still be glitched by killing them in games where you cannot complete the quest, for sure. This one will never be re-programmed.

In the first part what does it mean dont save and exit near CTA point?

the thing that anoys me the most is when people post a question here and then PM me the same damn thing. dont do that.
