I'd think upp'ing butcher's would be a good first move! unless you did that already but i missed it..

Also, an Oath in a nice eth base would be a strong upgrade!

Gface/raven/gore would all be solid as well. i think most of that can be farmed in NM if hell is too tough. GL

I'd switch to an A5 Merc with lawbringer while you progress. Yes you lose might damage from a2 or hf if you've got that, but lawbringer makes it so much safer. .
You could also rock lawbringer on switch and use until decrep casts then swap to butchers.
You're squishy, you need some levels and hp. I'm guessing every monster has a high chance to hit you right now. Food for thought!

Basically, I don't leave nm on melee chars without lawbringer somewhere, you or Merc. Can farm nm LK to make lem, but I'd suggest walking nm wsk and baals for levels and loot, plus hopefully a lem
