Ah. It's not even the same shot. Several times near the beginning of this run, I took screenshots of an items in my inventory, and then realized they would look better if put in the cube. I don't remember, but I'm assuming I edited in the first image (not in the cube), then immediately moved on to the next image I had in the folder (in the cube), which was a shot of the same item, and hadn't noticed until after I uploaded it. I didn't think anything of it but apparently a few of you think it's foul play of some kind.

Too bad I've only lurked in this forum until now and none of you really know me here. I have no interest in breaking my own rules or doing things in a dishonest way. And I have lurked here for some time, so believe me, I wouldn't be naive enough to think I could get away with cheating and not have someone pick this thread apart and find out. Hell, my biggest gripe so far has been that I assume everyone's going to think I didn't kill Baal on /p8 because I forgot to bring up the message log before the screenshot. This is my first thread in this forum, and I'm not used to screenshotting everything while I play, or post-editing for that matter.

I've played this game for 15 years. I'm not going to start a softcore tank while using an item filter and plugy and try to fool everyone on jsp into being impressed. Cheers.

Honest mistake on my end. the more i thought about it i realized how easy it would be to mix up screen shots.. Sadly stuff was already said so no going back

It's a bit of a bummer but I'll get over it. Either people believe me or they don't. I don't blame anyone for being skeptical, as it's not hard for me to imagine what it looks like from another's perspective. Gonna spin this positive and just say it's nice to see you all as attentive as ever.

I went and dug this out of the recycle bin. This was the second image that was meant to be cropped and edited in. Didn't put this one in the cube either. Gonna have to pay more attention to what I'm doing in the future.

Resistances are low, defense is tiny, leech is nil, we don't know what damage reduction is, and our dps is lackluster.

Time to remember tactics from Diablo 1. Doorways and corners.



Not gonna post shots of these guys every time, but something about the first super-unique kills in each difficulty feels like they deserves acknowledgement.



I've basically signed off on hoping that axes like this drop. We'll be crafting some Nagas soon enough. We sure could use some weapon upgrades though. Did some gambling to no avail.

Part of me thought I could get away with holding off on Berserk for a little while longer, but I've been saving 3 unspent skill points for a reason. It's easy to forget how many uniques spawn with Stone Skin.

This completes the skill tree. A couple more points into Frenzy before diminishing returns get real bad, then probably 1/1 into Axe Mastery and Battle Orders every couple levels for a while.



Lulled myself into a false sense of security being in this cabin. This blue bitch was Cursed / Mana Burn. My merc going from the green to dead in an instant should have tipped me off.

No, dying as this character would not be the end of the world for him, but I would have pissed to die so soon into NM regardless.

In some sense, this is the best thing that could have happened, as a proper reminder not to get distracted by whatever podcast you're listening to while playing this game (and not to fuck with Cursed no matter how tanky you feel). Had we been playing a squishier character we'd have croaked right here. More Warcry prebuffs just moved to the top of the list. Spirit swords are great for the +4, but also. Also, not only is buffing faster nice, but if you hit a certain FCR breakpoint, you can actually hork bodies twice iirc.

Mr. Smith hit like a truck, and of course he was cold enchanted because why wouldn't he be? At this point I'm full clearing most areas. Leaves lots of room to run around and regen if need be, and need did be in this case.



I'm realizing as I'm posting this that I don't need to be hording this many stat points. The most strength I should need is 138 for Arreat's. I don't remember what else is granting extra strength, but I know it isn't much.
