1 - Ethereal items sold to any vendor are lost and cannot be bought back. The Stone of Jordan, Annihilus, Hellfire Torch, and Gheed's Fortune are also (not visibly, but internally) ethereal.
2 - Yes, but only Caster Amulet Item Level: 90-98. Amulet Item Level: 72-98 with Teleport charges supplies Level 2 Teleport (25 Charges) and that is the maximum on an Amulet.

Amulet/Amulet of Teleportation Item Level: 99 with Teleport charges supplies Level 3 Teleport (27 Charges).

1 - IIRC, even an item which is not flagged ethereal but Socketed (X) and has at least one socket filled will disappear immediately when sold. (This is the perfect way to get rid of a rune word.)
