If you have a spare lem, I would absolutely make treachery in that. As you said, can just upgrade it once you find a better base in hell.

think i should just go ahead and make treach for merc in this? of course base sucks (worse than my 243 MP), but i'd be hunting pits for bases as soon as i get to hell so i could replace pretty "quick"
I have 3 lems, so I have 1 to spare between now and LK runs
merc already has non-eth LS lawbringer, so maybe only upgrade would be eth LS but could wait.

I’m using an A5 merc with ‘Lawbringer’ for Decrep procs. I went with CBF over DR cuz I don’t want him to to be frozen so he can’t proc Decrep as much. I’m sure either Shaft or Duriels is just fine. Both are good mid-level merc armors.

non eth, low mf--> actually ideally since I'll mainly need bases/runes from hell

razortail
cats eye

i'd probably move to hell without razor tail and cats eye if i burn out. maybe even without vamp. mephs odds are low. but then merc would maybe need tal mask.
What do you guys think for A5 LB merc helm on my bowa/fury hybrid? reminder, he is currently using guilly
