Avenger is unfortunately a rather sucky build
Somewhat slow single-target high-mana-cost attack, no real CC... what I enjoyed about it though is that you never have to worry about immunes.
The key, I found, is having a weapon with as much base physical damage as possible, as Vengeance's elemental damage is multiplied off that.( Except +damage weapons like Grief - that doesn't count toward it. Irrelevant in this case though as no ladder RWs)
Could even go two-handed seeing as you're SC.
