it's really hard to guess... I think it's gonna depend a lot on what you're able to find to equip your barb... are you refighting bosses?

you can avoid diablo's ray on nm if you stand toe to toe with him, if you manage to get there I don't think you're gonna have much problem... normal diablo is tough...

if you're leaving the game and re-rolling the monsters that spawn, then gloams and souls won't be a problem, but if you're not they're gonna be a huge problem in hell (nm too) since you depend mostly on your own hands and weapons to kill them... but with some points on natural resistances and decent equipment I guess you can deal with them

when you get to hell there's a possibility you will have some decent equipment already (if you're lucky) and you won't be slain by the first monsters out of town on act1

well, I'm still undecided, will post my guess later...

i started doing this for a bit of fun... just not on Hardcore. normal duriel took the first kill tho cos i got stuck for 5 seconds not able to click out in my portal with him right on top of my ass lol.

as asked already are you gonna be re-running areas/ bosses or ploughing straight through?

So far I'm playing straight through. If my weapons become so shitty that I'm not able to kill anyone I will consider running bosses again
