Seems ok. You ar is a bit low for hell in my opinnion though. You should get some ar charms or so.

Change your Frenzy to RMB.

Now point at the ground and hold down RMB. Hold on tight for the ride and drive carefully. You can still hot key in WC for example and just switch skills without letting go of the button. You will always strike as soon as anything is in range, never having to change target etc. It is bliss.

I find this is so far and away the best method for any melee skill. Try it and you'll see what I mean. <Thanks to Grimborn for sharing his secret>

I think so is the answer to the WC stun question, I don't think it's nerfed in Hell, though if it is, it would be very tough to reach 2s duration.

I have other charms to add into the inventory. I have not placed them there yet as He is still geared for killing NM Baal. Once I enter hell, things will change. I have some nice AR + damage charms as well as some Life+ resists charms. Eventually I will find that stoopid hat and Kill NM Baal.



I have done that and do not like running all over hell's creation getting smacked since my def would be 0. My aim is not what it used to be and I prefer to have to actually click on things. Makes me feel like I am actually swinging the weapons.

Hard to have a mele pally with any aura if zeal/charge is on the right.

Agree on the palla / aura of course, but it has no effect on defence with Frenzy, so not sure what you mean there?

My point was really due to the slow weapons, which coupled with actually having to click the critters make for even slower going.

I'm also used to having essentially all my main skills on RMB, so only for my Zealot I think have I ever used LMB for main attack. I swear my arm fell off due to all the mouse clicking

I have it set to run so I go super fast. I look like carl lewis in baal runs. I smack the guys at the doorway and then take off on sprint to the throne room. Everyone is left behind at the doorway and everyone starts screaming " slow down, come back here and BO us."

I like having to click. Again, it makes the false illusion of actually swinging the weapons. I can undersand how someone could not enjoy having to click over and over and over again. But I like it.

I just wish that the stoopid hat would drop so I can get on with hell mode.

I think you should trade for a new gulli hat rather than be stuck trying to MF one. I'd be willing to sponsor it!
I want to know how this turns out in hell.

It was suggested to me to trade for one from a friend of mine. He was surprised that he did not have one himself. While trading for one is an option, I would like to try to keep this character self found, save the armor.

I can say this, MFing in NM acording to ATMA with 0MF offers a 1 in 400 chance from the last 3 act bosses to get one. I am using FOHydra for all the MFing and she is wearing full tals with 2x nagels, war traves, chancies, and all kinds of MF charms. Lets just say that I should have a better than 1 in 400 chance at getting one of these silly green hats. Sure, I would not be this frustrated at looking for a gold item, but its green for petes sake. I have done many many runs in the almost 2 weeks since I lost it and have yet to find one. I have however been able to procure my first and second ever occy from all this MFing. I already have a sorc so I have no clue what to do with these things.

I fricken finally found the damn hat. I got it off of the finger type seal boss in NM. The odds to find it with FOhydra's mf was:

1 : 4637 Grand Vizier of Chaos - (N) The Chaos Sanctuary - {mlvl 61}

A lot higher than to find it from one of the 3 bosses:

1 : 640 Mephisto - (N) Durance of Hate Level 3 - {mlvl 59}
1 : 476 Diablo - (N) The Chaos Sanctuary - {mlvl 62}
1 : 481 Baal - (N) The WorldStone Chamber - {mlvl 75}

Anywho, I am glad to have found it. I socketed it with a 27ED +1 to 78 lightning damage jewel that I found. It did make a minor improvement in my damage, but not much. I tried out the war cry that stuns shout and I can see I definatly want a longer duration. What was it, 7 points for 2 seconds of stun?

Now the real challenge begins. I start hell mode tomorrow and will hopefully be able to clear one act a night. Of course this assumes I get the free time to do it each night. Good thing the holiday is approaching. I also happen to have acquired a new wand. It does really nice damage and it has fire res on it. Ask for a screenie and you might get it.
