Orb is pretty leet, with a Nightwing and fathom, just putting one point into orb gives you like 600 dmg, which can kill shit in hell.

so by synergies do you mean cold masterie too?

No, he means the ice bolt synergy, which utterly sucks. Unless you're already at very high CM levels (like 30+) another point in cold mastery will almost always do more good than a point in ice bolt. For bosses like hell meph, uber d, etc., it is generally wise to max CM. And then ofc for PvP, you always max it.

So I just read the whole thread, and minusthe parts where someone didnt read the thread and threw in an opinion, this kicks ass. I can't begin to tell you how worried I was that my FO dmg looked low at 300, I just knew it killed stuff. This makes it all clear to me, and with saved synergy points, I may even splurge and put some points in tele! I've always been to stingy for that.

I prefer Blizz for the moat trick early on in ladder when you die in like 2 hits, though. It's still doable with orb though I guess.

I was wondering, are the 'shards' that come out of the orb (i don't know how to say this next part exactly lol), set-damage? Like is that damage already included on the LCS or are those actualy ice bolts with your current ice bolt level?

The damage each shard does is equal to the damage shown for Frozen Orb on the LCS
