What’s the damage difference between double up’d gtoes and up’d gores? Would it drop significantly or not as much? I know there would be a high amount of CB gained and since DS doesn’t work on kick you’d gain that. Just curious. I have played one hybrid about a year and a half ago, I think, and gambled gtoes. It went inactive and I didn’t know I could have a mod bump it so I deleted her. Haha. Been looking at yours and half of it made me want to do the hybrid for the race :)

/edit: can I also get a list of your gear, merc, stats, and skill distr? Pm would work too if you don’t want to post here.

I prefer Gore Riders, since it's got 30frw and 8 lower strength requirement with 116 average damage vs for 10% extra CB at 97.5 average damage. In the end I don't think there's too much of a difference, both are viable and just depend on whether you're using Fade or BoS, your amount of FRW, and your amount of CB from other gear :P

While I might enter the 1-95 race, perhabs with a poison necro, I still wish to finish up this character.

Of course you can, no worries! ^_^

Merc uses Infinity in an Eth Thresher, Treachery in an eth 972 defense Loricated Mail and Tals Helm. I still haven't been able to find Vampire Gaze, Andariels Visage or a 2nd Guillaumes.

Currently skills are as follows @lvl 91:

Martial arts:
18 Dragon Talon
1 Prereq's for Dragon Flight
1 Dragon Flight

Shadow Disciplines:
1 in everything except for Fade and Venom
17 Shadow Master

Traps:
1 Fire blast
10 Shock Web
5 Charged Bolt Sentry
20 Lightning Sentry
20 Death Sentry

Shadow Master has been irreplacable throughout the progression, but lately she's mostly just been annoying me. She'll constantly mind blast the Fallen Shamans I'm tp'ing on top of, destroy my traps with Wake of Inferno and then leave the fight to throw useless Shock Webs. It's probably time to retire her, and with my new respec I'll spend the 18 points in Shock Web/CBS to boos my LS dmg from 1-1757 to 1-2487 :thumbsup:

Nice! Grats on guardian! Definitely a wt that made me want to do a hybrid sin, as previously mentioned.

As for skills, I was doing a blade fury sin and i had to retire shadow because of the same reason. Mind blasting enemies right before they die. Annoyed the shit outta me. But why did you split shock web and charged bolt sentry and not just put points into 1? Random? I assume they grant the same synergy to lightning and death.

Also no venom?

Oh yeah, the split is random, both give 12% to LS and I figured I’d just split them. Sadly DS gains no damage synergy except from lightning sentry, so that damage will stay the same.

On my first try at a hybrid kicker I maxed Venom, but with 5+ kicks per second overriding the previous application and no easy way of spreading it around, I decided to skip it this time around. That being said, max venom and 1 point in Blade Sentinel might be an interesting choice while running through the game :)
