This is not made up: I work as a hotel manager in Banff, so we see people from all over the world and sometimes they can have some pretty "out there" names. Last night a guy checked in named... Jalal! No joke. I took it as a sign and squeezed in about an hour of Meph runs before bed last night, to my girlfriend's frustration... but hey, I couldn't ignore the sign!

Like many before me who believed in a sign from above; I was of course disappointed. Maybe tonight at the hotel I'll just simply ask him where he is hiding his mane!

I feel kind of stupid but I don't know this word 'punition'. My GF who is French says that it means "grounded" in French, like a child who is in trouble haha. So I guess you were asking if I got in trouble for ditching her to look for a Jalal's

Just for the record, Jalal was one of the most annoying people I've ever met!

Perhaps D2 Jalal's will end up being one of the most annoying items you are trying to MF.

I still have semi-high hopes! Jalal's has always been "that one" item that seems to drop randomly for me on almost every character. In random spots with no MF or out of chests etc. Ofc the theme of D2 is 'evil', so it would be in-keeping with the tone of the game to never drop it when I actually need it

I found a Cerebus Bite (and Jalal's as well) on Ember and couldn't help but wonder if that would be useful for Hobbes at all.

Better than my current, but certainly less useful than Jalal's. Having no Torch/Anni like I would on B.net, my sockets and items are a little bit more limited. If I was making this build on Bnet, the sockets would be Fire Facets and the amulet could stay Seraph's for the extra dmg to undead/demons. But on SP/no plugy the sockets have to be Um runes, the amulet ideally has to be Mara's (otherwise I'll need to make the res up in charms), and I also need the res from Jalal's.

Since I have that 15 res all/12 fhr GC... I may either be able to keep Seraph's, or use a fire facet in Jalal's I don't really know how everything will work out with the resistances until I actually see what I'll find

lol I get that too. I just can't get magefists to drop for my fire druid I mean, come on, magefists? really!!!
