why use glacial spike instead cold blast?

Seems like liimule also uses it. Wouldn't cold blast do way more damage

Spike isn’t for damage it’s for safety, it holds packs in place with aoe freeze

This. The cc. However I believe since they are frozen, iirc reading somewhere, they take less damage from blizzard since they won’t be walking and having it proc’d on them more. Not sure if that’s true. But for bosses you should always use cold blast

Yah I just like to freeze the mobs and play it a little less recklessly. If I was only farming meph I would use blast

Pretty sure I also read that it’s better to not freeze mobs because it reduces kill speed. Not to concerned about it though
