On the other hand, gambling Pike could be the best source of damage for your act 2 mercenary.
You can gamble Pike at Elzix in Act2 Normal.

Crafting a Savage Polearm is cheaper and easier to get, but if you have some spare cash, try gambling. Those Pikes can spawn with aditional Poison Damage or other stats that outdamage Savage Polearm.
