What caused the issue?

I think the txt file I had was either corrupt or incorrect for the current patch.

He sent me a txt file, I deleted out my old file, and replaced it with his, and it actually converted the base I had the runes in to a runeword. I realize that may be a duh moment to some, but to me it was a pleasant surprise.
