In response to your earlier question, I would try to progress to meph and roll a good map for him. That's how I Keep finding my butcher's pupils, and you also get a chance for Raven Frost (and the super chest).

Also damn that SoE and the BO Helm are nice.

I think that with the upgrades I got from andy I could farm meph ok. Maybe need some res. CBF needed. Thereses more items to get from meph, clearly!

Oh boy..

It's not as bad as you think. Plus with the right map and a teleport staff (or amu if you don't want to temporarily replace your bo-switch) you can cut down the runs to about 1-2 minutes. I got gface and butcher's from him really quick, and I didn't have cbf when I farmed him. Just stack crushing blow.

How much mf did you run with?
How much resists?
Life tap Wand?

100mf. I also ran p8 most of the time. Pretty much maxed resists. For starters no life tap wand (especially with teleport switch, that was annoying to change all the time), but the poting was pretty intense. He can only hit like max 200-300 per blow though so you should be fine.
