If you're resists are good and you're chewing through the enemy, I'd go for Meph for the reason that he can drop Titans ! !

Could do Peace but then I need fire/light res from boots/rings/belt/amu

I progressed to meph with upg’d Twitcthroe which is still my main armor while looking for Peace base. Only armors with 3socket I found are breast plates
But I run meph with x3 ptopaz armor anyway.
Going through a2 and a3 was not a big deal even without resi in armor.
I’d say you go for it
