Dude... you couldn't be more on the money with the comment. The spectres most of all. Ugh, it was hell. Not gonna lie, i already made my peace with grinding for better equip, something with tele charges etc., but then i tried it once more before i went to sleep and got it done. Those spectres, sheeeeshh. My first thought was, just like Maggot Lair, get rid of the block army, but i got trapped all the time and died a second time. I was stuck and there were two of those lightning traps which weren't in sight but juuuust were able to reach me.
I got it done with the full army in the end and i was lucky that this time i did not run into a spectre mob with a rare boss i guess. Basically, i just blasted TP after TP to get the positioning right. Just activated the WP and went to bed haha.

I feel your pain, having walked a summoner to guardian not too long ago.

The worst part was Arcane for sure. Gratz on getting through that. I think you will find Ancients challenging too.

If you find any crushing blow for merc between now and A5, it will pay dividends later. Rattlecage is pretty common... keep on going & GL

Thanks! Regarding Arcane again, now i'm wondering why i didn't think of casting Terror... would not have solved all my problems there, but a big help for sure. Yeah, CB is something i'm really after, i'd so celebrate a Gully drop. Both for current/grinding convenience and the challenges ahead. I want Gully for endgear also, not Andy.

Let's look at the current progress, big step forward, but no exciting drops really.



Yup, and there it is, Rattlecage. Not a big fan of the "flee" though, but i'll try it next to get a feel for it. Magefists, nice... i will stick to mf/res rares as for now though. FCR isn't that important, frequency of CE, tele later, but yeah. The fire thing would boost my CE though which is phys/fire, i think it works at least. I'm still looking for TO gloves for endgame. New boots, nothing fancy at all, but the massive lres helps. First ebug armor, 4s is usually nice, but 3 for Lionheart and Treachery would have helped more at this point.



Gheed's update to 32mf and better gold, merchant from 15 to 14. Aaaand the first (of many i guess) Manald. :)



Easy fight, one set of minions, 4 skels 10 mages survived... decrepify/cold seal the deal. Waltzed trough act 3 after that... drops were very disappointing, but smooth sailing and i made it to Lower Kurast!
This is where i'm at at the moment. Next aims, well first of all get a nice Lower Kurast map for the bonfire chests, two are ok, nn for freak 3 map. Then clear the maps for the Andy/Countess/Pit rotation again. Grind a bit and then add Meph to the rotation. Maybe i will set the aim to get a merc Lionheart frist before visiting Meph.
Playing online, i always had some sort of "restrict myself to enjoy things more" mentality, just lately collected some fg here... for most it seems to be a SP thing, but i'm a Lower Kurast guy lol. Join some generic Diabaals online, but not just tele, turn around every stone, get them nice charms and collect tons of gems to cube Baalcharms. Yes, that is a thing i did. I did that. And i thought it was kinda rewarding haha.

First map reroll and it looks super convenient already. Gotta check Andy though, if the new location there means 2x trough a whole map it would stink a bit.

First batch of LK runs & first little success, a MAL rune! Tons of PG and, what really helps in this SP environment, many jewels and charms. Nothing for future use so far, but we'll get there. Way to Andy turned out to be super convenient, great map roll.

Some solid progress, guys! First of all, look at my new goodies from Lower Kurast! Plus 15l/15l/14l scs!



Sewers lol... started on the left and as usual, the truth is in the last place you look. I don't know what it's about with me and this place, always the same hassle, my ultimate D2 running gag (i never rush A3 like most do, always play my chars & i actually LIKE A3 lol).



The map roll more and more turns out to be awesome. Switching to Rattlecage for the bossfights now on my merc, smooth. Usually not a big Meph runner, just back in the early days, but this time around, it is just too convenient.

Meph went down a fwe times already, some solid stuff, but nothing yay for this build. 2s Gris, well i don't have the stuff to sock it really. Gimme that Gully, Meph... also dope would be stuff like Stealskull, Crown of Thieves, Gaze, for some leech plus. I'm quite sure i can make that happen running Meph.



... and before i start the grind, some more updates later on i guess, here is the Meph quest drop.



It isn't time for act 4 as for now.

Again, if you manage to get that telestaff (it is shoppable), you can do extremely fast meph runs. In durance 3, its easy to run past the vampires onto that penninsula thing, then use 1x teleport charge to jump the moat. No combat involved..youll see lots of hydras and meteors whizz by but none will hit ou. And best of all it lets you skip council...they suck when spawn w conviction

Also if meph is the last boss in your MF run then consider Amp over Decrep. Youll maybe lose half your skellies but he does die faster

Yoooo, we got a WINNER, guys!
First, quick update, 2nd Mal and the Fal for merc Lionheart, i'll stick to the CB armor as for now though. Gimme that Gully, damn.



Still no tele staff, i always thought ahh it will drop along the way, just a matter of time, Naj's even, but welp. So i've started to check Ormus when doing Kurast runs. If any of you guys knows if it's possible toget the charges on a staff there, let me know... should be, right? Anywho... it works for me as it is currently. I don't mind slaying the court members at Meph, and if i want to speed things up, i just run trough, set a townportal next to Meph and return.

Aaaaand now let's see who takes the 100fg...



LK is really handy for several aspects. I have tons of PGMs for future charm cubing, too. I won't have to craft much because the Summoner does not really depend on fcr that much, i think with the standard setup it would get... 9'ish fcr additional to standard gear to get the next bp iirc, so i will craft some amus, maybe rings in future, rest will go into charm cubing. NN all to be Baal charms really, so it's not just a distant future thing.

So... Curse skiller, eh... 100fg go to Krassesache123, congrats dude! About to send it your way.

Please let me know if you guys have ideas for other contests and things i can improve this WT with, i'd really appreciate that!
