Chips is cool. Tppk helped remove bots and made the game that much more difficult. It sucks that it's -basically- gone.

I don't remember who Abuse was, it's been way too long.

And bots, chants, and cbaals helped keep the struggling balance between death and "barely alive" on ladder.

I don't think anyone understands the economy, lol. They just want to nitpick me to have an argument.

I"m in the middle of a walk right now and this is the first single player char Ive had the use of plugy on. It's nice to have but it for sure has made things far easier then not having it. Being able to literally save every single chippy+, gem , socketable base and anything else is a real boon for sure. The thing is it's declared from the get go, if people want to use it or not use it, that's perfectly fine.

People play the initial reset because of the fun of not having enigmas etc so early (down to 24 hours now because of dupes etc)

Anyone who bots is a dickhead. There would be a larger player base if bots didn't ruin every ladder.

It was way more exciting racing to be the first 99 playing with shit gear.

the shops/imports ruined the ladder, not one lucky bastard who makes 2k off of tals armor.

my bots were naked blizz sorcs running like ort/ral'd shaft+rockstopper, gambled fcr rings, and a naked merc for 2 days while they level themselves in ancient tunnels, lk, and meph trick lol. i didn't even get that lucky.

and bots are the ONLY reason HCL existed.
