Good stuff so far!

You can always static him down to 1 hp and then finish him with merc, huh?

This. Only problem with doing this on normal diablo without a bunch of fcr is that his lightning inferno will hit you whilst you are underneath him, whereas it does not in nm and hell. You've got to be quick about it and toss on some light res for added safety :)

And some DR. That lightning inferno is part lightning damage part physical damage. :(

True that... He could kill me in 1-2 secs if I get hit. Need to stack resis and figure out since when static works below 50% health ?! :P

Static Field

Will work to 1% life on Normal difficulty
Will only work to 33% life on Nightmare difficulty
Will only work to 50% life on Hell difficulty
