Question. I have never seriously played bowa. Is A1 merc worth anything without faith? What gear should I use with her? I just can't see how it could be better than A2 merc (especially with reaper's toll being much easier to find than hrs).

As for your question with rogue... Harmony / Edge runewords are decent to use... of course I prefer Vigor over Thorns, but Edge is easy to make and you can use for gambling reasons... Now, the other option of course if your character doesn't need is Witchwild bow... the other gear is simple enough, twitchroe armor if you don't have treachery, as for helm anything with life leech or skills, like Tals helm or just make Lore for her. But my final answer is that Might/Holy Freeze aura merc will be more handy in Hell difficulty.
