Hello everyone,
I tremendously enjoy reading most of the walkthroughs on this forum and I'm thinking about trying to contribute a little by registering to the tournament (as well as pitching a bit of fg, why not). This seems like good motivation to push myself to level my Sorceress from 94 to 95, but I'd like to check and make sure I am abiding with one of the rules first:
* Untwinked (no muling) -> I muled stashed items from dead characters (Sorc level 70, Sorc level 90 and Sorc level 90) and I had another character (Paladin level 81) grab a Torch for the character I currently use and intend to enter this walkthrough with. I do not use PlugY's extended stash feature, instead I use GoMule for moving stuff around as my intention with this character and my time in D2LoD in general is to collect 1 of each existing Unique/Set item. At first glance it seems like that would prevent me from participating, however I fail to see the difference between using GoMule to move items around and using PlugY's extended stash, at the exception maybe of inter-character item transfers. In any case, given the above, any chance I could join in on the action?
If that's a bit borderline, I'm happy to just be featured in the tournament yet not receive any of the FG prices, as mentioned earlier I'm doing this because I enjoy reading about everyone else's progress, I find the atmosphere in this forum very pleasant and figure some of you might enjoy my experience as well.
First off, thanks for being honest and actually asking/reading through the post! Much respect!
I hope no one uses PlugY to mule over items to other characters. Atleast those who enter this contest! The point of untwinked is just that, that you have start from scratch if you deed and search for specific items with each character! It adds a lot of depth and understanding to the game, imo.
I can already tell you have integrity, but I'd say that Torch/Anni/other items muled over from another character (especially if dead!) is not okay.
For me, personally, I'd welcome you to participate if you do not use the muled over items. Let's see what the others think as I also do not take any fg regardless of my score.

EDIT: By that I mean it's a HUGE advante to be able to get more than 3 socketed items through the socket quest and playing with items you haven't found yourself. How you got to level 94 though (and what items you used to get there) I don't care about as long we all compete within the tournament on shared ground.
