You claim others are misreading but sir, my remark was not targeted at you. I didn't quote you are mention your name :)

I was merely putting out there the message that anyone who may be sensitive to rude criticism may want to think twice about why they are posting an item here.

But since you have addressed me I would like to a make a point in the most friendly way I can. You seem to be really hung up on what the opening post has to say and that the opinion of a trophy is subjective... Well I have two things for you to consider:

First, This is not the first trophy room on this site. In fact, I think it is the last sf to get one. Look at all the other ones, everyone rates an item and gives their opinion, the community decides what is a trophy (Ironically, this is still probably the least hostile one).

Second, I can't stress enough that THE COMMUNITY decides what is a trophy. This is not anyone's personal trophy case. If one has their own reasons to love an item and want to post it up for themselves, there are user blogs. But few people do that because people want the community response. It is a collective opinion, and even "mean ol' elitist" seb gets to contribute his opinion. Anyone can say what they want within the site rules, even if it is rude or abbrasive.

Lastly, I have a personal issue with you telling everyone to act like an adult when you are talking about people "throwing around their e-pens" and end on a passive aggressive "bravo". Appreciate constructive feedback and be resilient towards negative remarks, that's how you act like an adult.

:hail: maybe a second person making similar points to me will give us some progress!

And to add to it, if you want to show off your items post them in your walkthrough and ask people's opinions before putting it in here, although you actually have to have a walkthrough posted and create a link to it when posting an item before even posting here.

So.... I've never been a crafter in D2. I've just crafted this amulet. How good is it compared to Mara's?
