Now I'm back to running countess, at least until the wife gets home. Another Um or Mal and then I can stop running her and switch instead to the shield & drac search.

I checked the atma dropcalc, and it appears andy cannot drop dracs, and the best odds (1/611 with 240MF in /p8) are from Duriel.

Would take at least a year of 24/7 playing manually for me to achieve such values with an untwinked char

Like I said: Claiming it to be easy to make 10.000 chaos runs doesn't mean a lot when he is mfing while he is AFK On the other hand he could have NO LIFE WHATSOEVER and spend all his time on d2 but in my book thats not "easy" either

So, I have no idea who you are talking about wrt 10k chaos runs. You guys are losing me here.

Anyway, with work and valentines day and all I didn't get to play today. I did do a few more runs yesterday after I posted the last batch of screens though.

I have started looking for more armor racks in nilatheks temple now. Any other ideas on where to find a good shield? Obviously, just kill a lot of baddies, with low-mf. But if I could find an armor rack somewhere in a high level area that drops elite pally shields the way that the other armor rack drops shakos and low pally shields (check the screenshots!) then I feel my search would be a lot shorter

So, where have you all found good pally shields? I want your weird observations, superstitions and anecdotes.

all of the kurast and ST 40+ res i have found have been in chaos runs off random mobs

Yeah I do chaos runs too to find pally shields...

For pala shields, clear Worldstone keep 1-2-3

be sure you dont have any mf on, else they bein drop as magic items.
