Hit level 86. At some point I realized that I was strong enough to tank Meph well enough to keep merc alive. It's tense, and I have to take potions like crazy, but having merc alive speeds up runs enough to be worth it. It's starting to feel like "real" meph runs. Runs are still about 2 mins, probably slightly less at this point, but I have a decent amount of MF now. I'm looking for Reaper's Toll, IK pieces (40% maul, 100% perf helm, boots, gloves, belt), and generally anything else that could make my road to Pindle safer.

That thing you have with LK, I have the same when running Meph with a melee build. Feels like I have to pay extra attention and can't focus on TV or whatever at the same time, partly why it was such a slog getting Raven etc on my pala

Yeah that RNG stuff is so infuriating at times. Flynn found two Mara's (technically three with that perf one from LK), Warshrikes, Arachnid Mesh, two Wisp Projectors and a whole load of other silly stuff before Reaper's. Fingers crossed you get one soon!

Good persistence on Meph. I love the princess bride. On to bride wars next?

Hit level 87 and this is where I'm at now. Level 86 was pretty uneventful. Finally high enough level to use that 10% LL ring I crafted, although I am still using Angelic/Nagel for now.



Still ISO: Reaper's, IK boots, IK gloves, 40% CB IK Maul, any other nice stuff, maybe a Shaftstop or other armor I can use between A4 Hell and Pindle.

A word of caution for upping Hone Sundan, if it's non-eth your merc won't be able to use it for a while due to the high dex requirement (163), unless he's got dex on gear or you put a Hel in the weapon of course.

*edit* Although I just read the bit about sticking with Bonehew anyway

Thanks for the advice!! I tossed it anyways, merc is doing fine with the 70 ias Bonehew so just going to keep that on him until Reaper's drops
