Question: Now that my merc will only have 7% leech from weapon (at least until he hits level 87 that is...), should I use one of those Gazes on him? They are so pretty, but I know Gface is better. Is 7% leech enough though? I could always just use gaze until he hits level 87 and then swap to gface and amn/amn/shael socket. He already has 45% CB from weapon, but I also don't want to give up the 15%DS on gface with all that raw damage. Any thoughts? I guess I could always just save one of the gazes and if I find that he is getting smashed in hell I can swap gface for gaze.

I tried to find meaning in the phrase "happy funny new york", but I couldn't is 7% life leech enough for merc in Hell?! Or should I use Gaze until I can re-socket the Hone?! I know you know the answer!

eth gaze is the best imo. i meant happy new year for america and canada yo

Nice, I think you may be right about using Gaze now that weapon only has 7% life leech. I think I'll use Gaze while merc is young... and then swap to Gface with amn/amn/shael in HS sockets once he hits 153 base dex at 87.

But is the coolness of eth (17% dr) worth losing the 3% Dr from the 20% dr non-eth? That's the real question!

For the record, this was the picture I meant to post for picture 2 in post 327. The one where I mislabeled it as Ribcracker.

Whatever haha the choice has been made... swapping to Gface at 87 anyways so I don't feel too bad about it

Saw this while repairing. I did buy it, but eventually tossed it to make space :/ I will just shop some +3 warcries javs from Anya in act 5 once the Meph runs are over.


8th Gface. Fun fact: It's actually the 9th Gface that dropped, but one of them dropped while I was accidentally on p1, so I don't count it (was my first run of the day and forgot to do /players 8)
