if u have leoric I think u should stick to it until maybe u have enigma so u can use ur hotos fcr... but for now leoric just beats hoto all the way man

Leoric gives me +2 skill on skeleton and SK mastery more than HOTO its a lot if we are talking about DMG. But on P8 Skeletons are just for tank. Merc does all the job.
oh I have forgot and massive mana is a great bonus from LEORIC. I think I`ll do as you suggested.

Ps can some1 explain to me how damage reduced by(X) actually works

just flat dmg reduce on a physical attack as far as I know.

if it hits you for 100, with amu it hits you for 96

This is the path damage takes:

Damaged reduced by --> Damage Reduced % --> Resistance --> Absorbs --> Life

So every 100 damage sent your way will first be reduced by 4. This is why sols are amazing.
