And it's time for Calvin to eat a slice of humble pie! I tested out Pindle runs with him, and Pindle actually lays the hurt down pretty nicely. It only took about 10 runs to know that it was an RIP waiting to happen. If he was amp/might or something it could be a 0.5 second death situation. I thought Calvin was stronger than this! Oops. He definitely had no problem with damage as he progressed, but he is a hell of a lot squishier than I thought he would be at this point. I'll have to be very very careful in Hell, and needless to say I'll be continuing the hunt for Arreat's at Meph and not at Pindle :/

Happy you’re taking a safer approach! Better to be on the deciding end of Calvin’s fate. Glad he’s still okay.

I'm a little worried about Hell now though, TBH I suppose I just need to be super careful and do my best to draw out any stronger packs 1 by 1 with howl/taunt. Could go either way, really. I'll have to re-gauge my odds once I actually hit Hell, but right now I'll give myself a 50-50 chance of completing the single pass full clear without dying.

Anyone have any thoughts on what to do with the bonus Lem? Start upgrading equipment or save it for a new Treachery in Hell? Either way it will make no difference really as Berserk sets your defense to zero, so any defense gains are pointless for the most part. I think it would be cool to have all of my gear as fully upgraded as possible, but it would also be cool to have some neat elite base for Treachery. Honestly, doing a full clear in Hell, I may find all the Lems I need to do everything I want... In which case it would be best to just start upgrading stuff now to save space. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I suppose I could also make a Wealth for like 7% extra MF over Skullder's

I would use the Lem now over saving them--you can always grab another one in NM LK if you end up finding a really nice base.

I will likely use it to upgrade Travs just to make some space, indeed! However if I do find a nice base in Hell, I wouldn't be able to go back to NM LK to farm. One of my hell-specific rules is that once I start Hell, there is no going back!

7th Gface I believe. It hurts letting them all rot when I know it's a better helm overall than Arreat's haha... But Arreat's is better defensively, and Calvin needs that.

My merc will need level 87 in order to have enough dex to use this. So unfortunately one of the sockets will need to be Hel or an ED%/-reqs jewel until then. Should be around act 5 Hell lol... Well that takes 7% leech away from him, but it also increases his damage a lot, which makes his remaining leech more effective.

Now I'm in the mood for upgrading and I do have that bonus Lem
