It doesn't give you any indication of what player setting the game is on when you join a game. If you set players to 8 in a game, you leave the game but don't exit D2, then when joining the next game the player setting will still be 8. Just go out and kill something, you can tell the difference.

Not me, there is a huge difference between P1 and P8, when i forget, I realise it immediatly when I exit town and I set it to P8.
This time i didnt realise and i didnt exit game, so it was P8. The screen I took for P8 proof shows that I really thought the game was set to P8 hahaha.
