No idea how many runs, but I ran meph only (98% of the time only killing meph) from ~level 72 - Level 83 (almost lvl 84).
373///539 or 69% (nice) through the grail

Plans now are:

First I will try to roll LK maps until I find an elite polearm rack and farm an eth 4os polearm for my Merc. Since my merc will be the main killer in Pits then I want a really good Merc insight. However, I am not sure how difficult this will be since there are so many variables to the racks...

Next I want to try and get some decent FCR/MF rings. My stash is full of gold so I will gamble for FCR/MF rings. I also have a saved most of the Sol runes from LK and all Pgems. So I will craft blood rings (no idea the likelihood of FCR/MF on a blood ring... gotta be low), but that will be next.

The remaining Pgems (aside from P Amethysts) will likely be kept for WC GCs (dunno if I will do this) OR 7MF scs. Probably leaning to SCs.

I will likely start pits at that time or chaos until 92. Then I will try to craft a 15+FCR/MF ammy. Ideally with some sort of skills to barb.

Leveling to 99 be the last goal most likely, but who knows...

Edit: Also, this week I will be at the my in laws for American Thanksgiving. Didn't bring my desktop... so going to use the FIL desktop... and well, I will have to run on old graphics to play... be prepared for some ugly screenshots

Good luck on the racks and fcr/mf ring. Idk if you're aware, but be careful crafting, people have been losing some items. Something to do with too much data in the files or some stupid thing. That's how I lost my cube/reroll charm and a crafted ring earlier I think, but some people are losing more valuable items

Chaos until 92 sounds like a good idea, you could knock out some more grail and get even more optimized on charms and whatever else before the pit grind
