Kept in pits and ready for slaughter, they were fortunate that Abhaya's arrows can fly with intent.

A chorus of kind words swirled around me this night, and I felt the weight of my armor lift, even if only for a moment. We rested well, for I know that soon we will once again feel the savagery of suffering.

When the night fell, there was a faint light in the distance. Little did we know that upon approach a new hell awaited us.

This mountain holds wisdoms new and old; the deeper we delve the more is revealed.

The man at arms here was grateful to have his men back in his service; I suppose it would have been too much to risk his own skin. My sympathies do not extend to those so weak of heart.

Conversely, the old woman who tends the wounded day and night has earned my trust. It was Abhaya who first pleaded that I speak with her, saying she'd lost someone dear to her. Abhaya speaks only when matters are worthy of discussion; as such, we will seek out this maiden. I can see that Abhaya sees a reflection of her own past in her loss. Fear not.
