Level 74! It took me 750 runs to get from level 73 to 74. This puts my total runs so far at about 3k. In 875 more runs I will be level 75!

*Rule addition/ISO change

After finding Cat's Eye, I was trying to decide between a 163%ias or 109%ias build. I was thinking about it for a while, and finally I just asked myself: Which would be more fun? I decided that the most fun thing would be to find more cool things along the way and possibly complete IK set. To this end, I have decided to add a new rule to my Hell-specific rules: In Hell, I must always maintain 100%+ MF.

To achieve this, I will swap my Gore Rider slot for War Travs, I will also use Chance Guards as my gloves along with a couple mf charms. If I find Gheed's it would open up my gloves slot again.

485% MF / 3000 runs so far
Current ISO:
Arreat's - 1:7915
2x base armors for Treachery (I would like either Ancient armor/Ornate plate/Field plate/Sharktooth armor for Calvin. I don't really care which base merc has.)
2x +3 warcries weapons
Ribcracker - 288%, ethereal 206%, 255%
Raven Frost - 243/20, 206/18, 228/20, 150/20, 159/17, 236/20, 204/17
Guillaume's Face (merc) x6
Hone Sundan (merc) - 192%, 194%, 193%, 182%, 163%, 171%, 160%
String of Ears - 7/175/13/11, 7/171/10/12, 7/152/10/12, 6/159/14/10, 6/154/15/15, 6/154/15/10, 7/176/11/12, 8/164/11/12, 8/156/15/13, 7/157/11/15
2x Pul rune - Both found at NM Meph
3x Lem rune - All cubed from Ko/Fal runes found in act 3 NM

Haha thanks man, I'm still using that LLD teleport staff I found earlier XD And it's kind of cool because it's the same graphic as Ribcracker except it's red, so swapping back and forth between them is kind of cool.

I'm still plugging away at NM Meph, took a break yesterday though. Should hit level 75/4k runs within the next 2-3 days.

I noticed that Pindle has a 1:22k chance of dropping Arreat's in NM as well. Versus Meph's 1:8k chance. Pindle runs are approx 1/3 as long, so the chance over time pretty much equals out. Does anyone have an opinion on whether I should keep running Meph, swap to Pindle, or maybe both? I'd probably prefer to just run one of them at a time to be honest. Pindle can drop more things, but I pretty much have anything I need beside Arreat's. Maybe Pindle could drop a nice base armor though, not sure. Any thoughts?

I would run Pindle if the odds are relatively similar. I would assume Pindle is safer for you to run anyway, right? If that’s the case, do it!

It also comes down to what activity won’t make you pound your head on the keyboard from repetitiveness.

If anything Pindle runs are probably more dangerous, but I really have no worries at all from either. Calvin is already far too OP for NM even in MF gear. One great bonus from Pindle is that the XP will be a lot better. I could probably hit level 80+ before I find Arreat's if I'm running Pindle, whereas with Meph I would probably be around level 78.5.

I think you're right that mixing it up never hurts. I'll probably continue with Meph runs until I am level 75, then I'll do 1k Pindle runs and see how I like them, wouldn't mind the change of scenery for a bit. Thanks for the reply!

Your plan makes sense 😁 Pindle for exp and breaking up the monotony!

Yeah I’m definitely pro-pindle in this situation. Can he drop better runes? Regardless, I feel like the change of scenery and experience makes it worth it.
