it now has a 15ias jewel with 8 min damage I think.

I like the recent crafted weapon but the amp weapon is required for itches and maybe stray ghosts...not good in packs of ghost though.

Your question might be what is early setup? I'd go for any two handed axe or two handed mace. Halaneya goes shieldless and so do I now...cept on the amp weapon. Then I use a vita/life shield with one handed weapon. I just haven't found good two hander.

Great items early are those fast polearms...scythe or war scythe. They work well on ss druid.

Strategically, don't get surrounded without fhr. I'm pretty low on fhr. I do a lot of retreating and gauge the baddies. Still go after them if I can bottleneck them.

Someone suggested trying a maul bear. I think this is cool idea while using the shockwave (one point). Shockwave is uber good. I think fury is the best mele build. I've tried most mele builds. I know WW barb is great but boring for me. I've been obsessed with titan builds cuz I love killing

I'm too much of a wuss to go Titan. I'd rip in catacombs level 2 norm being surrounded by amp'd zombies.

I didn't like Titans in the beginning. I liked regular frenzy barbs. People in strat forum kept talking about Titans and I finally said, "wtf". Some folks also pointed out that the lawbringer weapon is great. It's the p8 mele wonder (even good on a switch with windy ) Mele chars have to keep moving when around archers and range. Getting amped is death if surrounded, Titan or not. Well, not if you are a double dream mele bear sorc Holy build. Cheers. Do da barb then.

I like act 3. It's deadly though. Nice easy start. Been awhile since I watched that dark wanderer movie in d2. Kind of a grim tale.



Tasty life potion. These hulks are very tough on my mele characters. The merc gets reamed a lot.

Nice to be in hell. Phase Blades....2oc. Doesn't matter on this walk.



Killed all in the Spider Forest. Several big hulk bosses. Little bosses too. But Great Marsh almost got me. Got kind of trapped between too many souls and the hulks. Going back to spider wp and not via tp!

Under a million gold. It's a threshold. I've been selling every thing along the way. Merc just gets murdered. I usually bypass the parts in act 3 and beeline for LK and maybe the council....not sure I can handle council.
