TIL; had no idea. Will def be putting that to the test next go around. I just need to find my save file for D2R. Not too long ago, my laptop's HDD got corrupted while my SDD which only had my OS on it. So when I got a new HDD to replace the corrupted one, I fked up and saved some files on my SDD and everything else on the new HDD.. So my files are like scrambled and I'm too lazy to reorganize it lolol. So just need to look up how to properly do that so I don't mess anything up. Only time I every tried manipulating a game's data files was when trying to mod ES: Morrowind. And that was crazy difficult lolol

Hopefully I can survive long enough to accomplish my goals and just manually clear out everything including gold w/out issue in prep for my next WT. We shall see :) But 100% thanks for the suggestion!!

Wow!! Tbh, I might just keep this to use a soc quest on!! I still have all 3x. Here's what I'm thinking: 1) soc Eschuta's w/ an +all res jewel (Only seen 1 facet and I doubt many more [if any] will drop and be a 5/5 fire anway. Not PvPing w/ a SP character anyway so dmg doesn't matter too much); 2) since Act 5 merc will be my end game merc, I'm ISO Arreat's Face so will soc that if I found one; 3) that's about it! I pretty much have all my other gear soc'ed and ready to go so I just need the runes. Even though I already have a nice 4os eth armor for "Fortitude," this would make a nasty "Fortitude."

So I stashed for now to mull it over. There is still PLENTY of time left before I get to Act V so maybe something better will come along.

Lvl 91... :cry: .... they grow up so fast these days....

I remember like it was just last month that Yzma was only lvl 1...


Just like w/ Bonehew, I'm keeping this baddie for its CE charges whenever/if ever I need them when I'm stuck w/ an Act III merc for a while

First official high rune, ladies and gentlemen! And it's nothing I need for any "runewords" I will be making :rofl:


:blink: It's no +15 res jewel but it's the best so far! I def plan on putting this bad boy into my Eschuta's when I soc it (prob plan on doing that prior to moving onto Act III once I get bored of my runs)


Might as well do a grail challenge w/ all these high ilvl unique drops lmao (jk, I will never put myself through that torture)

I'm on a fking roll, baby!!!! Another HR that I don't need! Yaaaaas!!! Dropped from a pack of champion ghosts paired w/ champion blood clans. I do hate the "show items" feature on D2/D2R. There should def be a filter option to prevent mass clutter and/or priority listing to prevent missing dropped items. Got lucky that I saw this one.

I'm on the luckiest unluckiest roll!


I didn't s/s at the time, but I did have a Pul drop from Count couple weeks ago. So w/ this drop, I now have 2x Puls. I don't want to up for an Um just yet cause I am waiting on a Vex to make "Flickering Flame". I decided against using another Pul on another "Enlightenment" in my 3os SP armor. So either need an Um to drop or 1 more Pul so I can make "Crescent Moon"


Haven't found Death's Fathom nor an Occulus, but this makes 2x Eschutas haha. It would be tough to beat the 1st drop, but let's hope for more of them to drop ISO of a perf Eschuta's (+3 Sorc Skills, +20% fire & +30 Energy)!!

It's not eth, but finally found (rolled) a 4os shield for A3 merc :thumbsup: The shitty part is unless it's an eth Mon, he won't be able to equip it w/out +Str gear. But that's a problem for another day


Went ahead and rolled this for prep since I will need it anyway. Lvl 18!! Very nice

Only rolled 1 decent pair of boots. Stashed for now w/ the others. I'm keeping them all while I wait to see how my end-game gear comes along so that I can pick the most +res efficient one so I can load up on all those +Fire skillers that I've been able to find /s <_<


All of my crafted amulets failed to roll even moderately good. But I do that because my real intention is to gamble a Maras... but what I'm actually hoping for is a really cool rare amulet w/ +2 Sorc skills and other nice mods... but what I'm really hoping for is a dope +3 Fire amulet w/ a sick secondary mod like a Whale or Squid suffix. They key is to have layers of aspirations so that you feel truly depressed when the only things you get from gambling are absolute trash :rofl: But I gotta spend all this gold I'm collecting!

Here are some nifty gambles (max +life mod and 35% MF are pretty cool)


This would have been real nice if it was for Sorc and not Necro

New MF armor. Swapping out my "Enlightenment" for now cause I'm not really losing too much but getting a lot more MF%

Gonna be rolling this ISO another 3os sword to make "Crescent Moon" in


Kept this in case another Ohm drops and I'll just go ahead and make a "Call to Arms." However, I am hoping for a 5os Zerker Axe to make it in.


100% stashed for A5 Barb for budget gear in case I don't get anything to replace it





That's all. Been running a whole bunch lately. New runs consist of these areas:

Act I (Hell)

  • Countess (/P1)
  • Andariel (/P8)


Act II (Hell)

  • Stony Tomb (/P8)
  • Arcane Sanctuary (/P8)
  • Duriel only*** (/P8)

***Majority of the time, I avoid all of the other tombs and just go straight to his chamber. Skeletons spawn way too often and even w/ LR wand, takes a bit to kill and often times merc dies which slows the runs even more. I'll usually clear Durry's tomb if I notice that no skellies have spawned. Then it's a clean sweep.

Haven't gotten bored yet. I will consider progressing into Act III (thus forcing me to switch mercs) once I get a "Crescent Moon" and "Flickering Flame." That way merc can be geared up w/ "CM," Ormus's Robes & Shako. So just need to find an Um (or another Pul to use for "FF" and have 2x to up) and a Vex before we move on!
