Things started off well enough in hell, but the lack of damage was noticeable. I really had my hopes set on a 4os elite staff to make a new "Insight"

Second Lem rune is pretty nice. I decided when I dropped a second Ko rune I'd up my duriel's shell.

Raven was fine, I just used sanctuary aura to clear out all her minions and then turned my attention to her.





I did maps a little differently. I cleared Blood Moor, Burial Grounds, Cold Plains, and then Stony Field before starting any of the high ALvl dungeons. Then I went back and started with Den of Evil. DoE was tame. I was most nervous for Caves today.

Right as I began to start Crypt I dropped a high ilvl charm and decided it was time to start rerolling. Well my rolls went pretty freaking good! This opened up a lot of inventory space that allowed me to bring in +1 off skill GC, 20% FHR (8+12%) and some life and poison resistance.

Heading back to The Crypt, I was early for my meeting with Bonebreaker... he wasn't very nice. IIRC I got chunked for ~1k here.



The GCs just kept coming. I retired this immediately. Too bad I don't play sorc.

Heading into the cave had me trapped. A pack of zombies with might aura and an ele enchanted skele pack were a little dicey for a bit. Fortunately the archers just off screen did not pull until after the aura went down.

Cold Crow was terrifying. My merc melted twice here.



And finally the most nerve wracking floor of the day! I was met by 3 packs at the beginning, 2 skeles 1 zombie. Strong on one, cursed on another.

This run had already gone on much longer than anticipated and I'm quite proud of having survived this far.

Heading into day 2, I knew it was going to be the hardest part of Act 1. We had a lot of trouble in the hole and underground pass 2 on the werebear, and yet the scariest places are probably the Pit and Tower. I wasn't really even expecting to make it to Tristram.

Much like yesterday I started with the low Alvl maps: Underground Pass 1 -> Darkwood -> Black Marsh -> Tamoe Highlands

I was met by an early MS+Cursed Skele archer pack. I managed this fairly well. Sanctuary aura is just so good for dealing with undead.

Getting onto Dark Wood was pretty easy, but there were some difficult lancer packs here. Treehead was PI and required me to run circles around the merc.

There was another PI brute pack at the start of Black marsh and plenty of Lancers waiting to ambush me on entrance to Tamoe.



Unfortunately after persevering so much throughout the day.. I was met by something unexpected... a literal 1 shot from 1332 hp from a critical hit from our boy Griswold. The curse+fanata obvious not a great combo for me. I was fairly certain this would be the day the run ended, but given how it was going I was not anticipating to die in this fashion.

Oh well! I'm really proud of how far this build made it. We had a ton of excitement with some drops. I had fun, and I hope you enjoyed following the run.

I'm going to attempt to refine the kicker run I did several months prior. I've already found a gull dagger in a1. I'm hoping the run doesn't end up as starved as last time. Just need that Lem :)

that live reaction :D really sad but still a great effort and result imo for this build, rip..
