I also wanted to share some of the memes a viewer has been making during this run because they're hysterical!
This one hurts
---
But I'm hoping to live up to this one tomorrow
---
This one is easily my favorite of the bunch though:

This is the only picture that needs to be shown. please note the dead green snake
I do want to complete this run, but I'm quite happy regardless of where I die now.
troll belt was troll.. Did I mention I dropped a trang's from a 1/900k+ claw viper on my kicksin run - wishful thinking here
---
Looks like a "Spirit" shield isn't in the cards for this run
I was expecting harem/cellar to be a bit of a challenge, but I didn't have many archer spawns. I had some nasty pack combos, but it was actually pretty tame. I think I was just hyperfocused post fangskin.
Arcane wasn't too bad either. Although, all the packs were top left along with summoner which proved interesting. Hell Clan really slowed down this map, but otherwise it was pretty safe and chill.
---
If I can survive to A3 I'll be upgrading my weapon via hratli+chippies and things will look a little more optimistic for a Guardian run.
Here's gear and stats:

Well it wasn't easy but Act 2 is complete
I had a somewhat unfortunate Canyon of the Magi. Spear cats (Fire immune) with some nasty packs. Also maggots are quite annoying. It did, however, drop me a juicy Flesh render. Thank you game. This makes up for rolling 3os in my Monarch shield. It's a wonderful prebuff weapon for SS, essentially a hoto.
My Tal tombs also coughed this axe up. I'll add that to the list of items I don't have.
I was pretty lucky in that, I was constantly getting beetles and wraiths on my map. I was not overrun or overwhelmed with endless Unraveler packs. Almost all my unraveler tombs (4) had wraiths+beetles which in many ways aren't tilting. Great exp from beetles, and great drops from wraiths. I was only gifted as high as an Io run though. Sadly no Lo like the lucky barb in his hell tomb run.
I had the nastiest Ancient Kaa but there weren't many other unravelers around which made pulling out the packs and killing him easy. His tomb was infested with other unraveler packs though, and being on the larger side (as far as tombs go) this was my longest Tomb. I probably spent about 90 minutes in here alone (twice as long as the average of all my other tombs).
---
Fortunately, no unraveler spawns in Duriel's tomb - which made for a pretty fun and easy map. There were a lot of CE+Fast and Fanatic packs here though which kept me on my toes.
Holy freeze + stun from Duriel was spanking my ass. I decided rather than spending all my rejuvs on this fight to simply cheese it with Oak + Merc (was bugged at the start of the stream). The fight lasted ~45 minutes but I didn't waste more than a couple of juvs doing this. I suspect other boss fights will be much... much easier. This also allowed me to run 110 mf and guarantee the merc got last hit for an additional 65 mf.. but hey what's 175 mf when killing a boss.. they don't like dropping me anything of value anyways
---
Here's my gear and stats heading into A3 - I'm very close to hitting level 87 (much like it was on the barb run at this point). I'll be shopping and cube-rolling a weapon upgrade tomorrow as well.
Thanks for reading.

I started off my day shopping for Champion axes. With 194 standard gems and 186 chippies I was looking poised to hit my Cruel affix at least once ~1% odds (2% for cruel, 50% for prefix, 50% for 2os) I was anticipating having to buy multiple champion axes to chippy, however I managed to roll into 293% ed (with some LL too boot, sadly not IAS) and 2os in under 40 rerolls.
I was anticipating spending the whole day on upgrading my weapon. Instead I had a 71% physical damage increase inside of 30 minutes. So, I began my descent into Act 3. I also dropped this incredible RJoF.. I retired this baby ASAP. One day I hope this jewel has some company for a future tomb reaver.
I also wanted to share another meme from one of my viewers. They crack me up.
At least it's not another nagelring (seriously I found 3 already). But sadly, this is no ravenfrost. A new item for my single pass grail list at least.
I was a bit tilted, I had already punched holes in a thresher today to get 2os. But this was a great way to end my stream. I hit 5os on my 4th thresher roll (4os -> 3os -> 2os -> 5os). This weapon would've been amazing had I had this available for yesterday's Duriel fight.
---
Onto what actually happened during my A3 adventure:
The overworld maps were fairly tame, but I did have some interesting encounters. Dire Touch was the trolliest Dual Immunity I've ever had... getting him low with OW wasn't tedious however he'd web and run or teleport into other packs of stuff. This fight reset 4x before I said "fuck it" pulled him to a corner and full cleared the map (including a very scary szark) to come back and squash this spider. Running into dual immune zombies is a little bit more expected however and they really didn't prove to be too much of a threat.
This conviction Gloam pack gave me pause, but this pack managed to prove easy despite the 1k health chunks.
After wrecking storm tree and checkpointing my LK waypoint, I headed for my 2 concerns with A3 today.. Flayer Dungeon and Swampy Pit.
My Flayer dungeon map started a bit rough. 4 packs immediately near the entrance with lots of CE gave me a bit of trouble. The little pea shooter flayers made this quite annoying and painful. My second floor had dolls - which actually weren't much of an issue. Again this floor ambused me with a cursed + extra stronger stabby flayer pack. The pack leader nearly wrecked me all by himself. He was chunking me and putting me in hit recovery fairly easy. As soon as I got a single stun off the fight was over. The rest of flayer proved no issue.
Swampy pit was tame by comparison. I spawned some dolls mummies and bats but didn't really have an issue. My second map had multiple cursed zombie packs. I also rolled into gloams but no gloam packs.
---
I'm feeling pretty good about the success I've had in this run. My run could most definitely end tomorrow with some of the tiny temple maps. Hopefully nothing is too rough heading in there. I think if I survive them I will almost definitely make it to A5 with confidence.
Here's my gear and stats ~half way to lv88 which I will hit somewhere before meph. I won't hit my final level, 89, until A5.
