Dac Quack. Actually a pretty obnoxious little shit.

I honestly quite enjoy killing these imps. They give a decent chunk of xp, considering how fragile they are. Hitting these guys with chain lightning is exceptionally satisfying.

One of the cooler enemy types introduced in the D2 expansion imo. They pop real nice.

Slayer Guard would be fantastic, but they were likely double durability Avenger Guard (Item Level < 37), Avenger Guard (Item Level > 36) or double durability Slayer Guard. :P

Wait... My memory is dancing around this. I'll have to re-read on this to remember exactly how that works again. And greedy me will only settle for Slayer Guard. If the first one of these drops ethereal in this playthrough, I quit,

Taking a moment to enjoy how ridiculous Leap is.

This bitch went on vacation during a siege.

Personally I think every item this guy drops should be socketed. -_-

Champs guarding the Frozen River dropped some new armor for the merc.

One Frenzy barb with 5% chance to amp vs. a pack of Frenzy Death Lords with 50% chance to amp, as soon as we enter the river. I promptly nope on out.

Someone ran out of ideas when naming this yeti, 'cause Frozenstein is dumb. Did a fair bit of taunting and kiting, and I'm once again reminded that CbF would be a godsend. Being frozen and stunned is irritating. If these guys had crushing blow they'd be worse than Urdars.

Really hoping to find some mods like the ones this claw generated with, on an axe or two. The circlet seems nice at first glance, but in the end, it still isn't enough to replace Tarnhelm. Maybe if it had a couple sockets. The ar/dex is great, but it's not enough to sacrifice all those skill buffs. 19% ed is negligible, and if there's one thing a frenzy barb doesn't need, it's FRW, despite it being fun. I'm hoping to find enough ar on charms, jewelry, future axes and blood gloves to compensate for the rapid fall-off in nm.

Heyo! Second gem shrine at the Halls of Anguish entrance. Gems, as always, are going to be the bottleneck in our crafting ventures, especially since blood axes aren't all I want to craft. Blood helms for Deadly Strike, belts for Open Wounds, gloves for Crushing Blow, rings/amulets because they're awesome, are all tempting ideas.

Alhizeer has learned a new ability: Ninja or something.

This bitch! He was fantastically annoying. He knows three things: Spamming Arctic Blast to keep you slow, spawning minions to distract your merc, and vanishing like a bitch.

 Reeeally looking forward to some one handed axes that look like this...

Going out of my way to kill some lesser visited super-uniques. Why not?

Killing anything is starting to take more time than I'd like. I decide it's time to revisit some of our favorite enemies and try to land some better weapons.

20 runs of Shenk, Eldritch, and Thresh didn't net much. This is the only rare 1 handed axe that dropped. Sending this one over to the trophy room asap.
I'll likely replace Stealth with this armor as soon as I feel like we need the extra resists. For now I'm content.
Our first Warcry switch buff is good to see. Might have to shop for more of these if they don't drop soon.

Don't like farming Norm any longer than I have to, and the drops have been lackluster. I settle for some mediocre axes that are at least better than what we're currently using.

That belt though...

For some reason I always overestimate The Ancients in Normal. Stocked my inventory full of hp and mana pots, used like 2.

Lister reminds me to make sure Crushing Blow and Open Wounds are high on my priority list in NM. He took a while, and regen'd a good 5th of his hp while I had to go repair my axes.

Really just wanted to chip off as much health as I could before Baal summoned a clone. I can't complain about <50%.
Noticed during the fight that our attack rating is getting to that point. We're going to need a solution soon, as leveling up is taking longer and we can't pour points into Mastery and Frenzy forever.

I would consider running Norm Baal for a bit, but Lister and Friends are a pain, Baal kinda took forever, and I'd rather just get into the meat of the game and get to crafting. Gonna need to slow down and be extra careful in NM, as we aren't geared so hot yet.

Here's that cheap boring merc some people hate so much. He's still using the trident we found in A1. Also I just noticed I edited a Grand Charm where a Small Charm should be.

No chance unless wielding Sander's Superstition.

Hmm... Thank you for an idea for a goof screenshot edit for NM forge. 8P

The irony is somewhat outstanding. Too bad this had all been done before you mentioned Sander's. I must find another.
What a call though. :D
