It doesn't matter if it's hardcore or not, as long as you have fun you don't have to explain yourself to anyone here. There are a lot of "p8 hardcore" wt's here that in reality are just p1 softcore wt's in disguise, so why should you care what people might think about yours? Just do your thing, have fun and best of luck.

I think the /players 8 chat box pictures are cute as hell too, like they show any kind of legitimacy >< enjoying the wt tho

Yeah, i agree, even though at some point i was doing the same screenshots... it never crossed my mind that anyone can enable the p8 command while they're inside the boss chamber, which makes it apear in the chatbox without actually being active during the battle. But it's not just that, it's also the fact that anyone can just play in very short sessions, between waypoints, and make save backups every time, so if they die, they can easily revive their character at the last waypoint.

So at the end of the day, the only walks, that can be proven to be legit, are the ones with video footage from start to finish, like Haloneya's. When it comes to the rest, everyone is free to make up their own minds about them. There are a lot of players who i believe to be legit, but there's also quite a few who i'm 100% sure are cheating.

Yep can just enable it anytime and it would appear in box like that lol. I may do softcore wt soon for fun but not to try and prove anything to anyone it looks fun! And I agree about save backups people aren’t going to put 100+ hours in and just toss it away, you die in D2, especially in a hardcore walkthrough in single player with crap gear in hell. On players 8 lol

I normal show my p8 settings i think its a habbit i do it at every act boss kill. but i dont feel like doing it in Norm/Nm.
