It's a ladder only runeword and single player counts as non ladder. There is a way to import ladder runewords which almost everyone in this sf allows in their runs but I never looked into it since I don't do single player

I Dl'd a txt file that allows you to have ladder runewords on here.
But it's apparently not working.

Magi will be a gooozu upgrade gl finding
