This could probably be done but extremely slow. May try it out. Not sure though.

Definitely not going to be my next walk though.

I was considering making a "complete norm" challenge ala Textbook's stuff. Sorc rules were going to be no merc, no static, only skill allowed is frost nova and armors.

this was a long time ago tho and when i floated the idea people didnt like the end goal being just norm.



norm is possible, but my guess is in hell you couldn't beat most monsters regen, even with full synergies and facets. would be pretty fun for a while in norm then painfully slow.

oh yeah, just out of the nostalgia factor

i remember way back could never get anywhere too far with frost nova but the way the skill looked/interacted with mobs was satisfying af

for sure, one of the cooler animations in the game imo

still a lot of cool skill interactions and skills in d2 that poe and d3 still have not even come remotely close.

for example, amazon's Lightning Fury which interacts exactly how "Spectral Shield Throw" does in path of exile ( but WAYYYY more slower and doesn't hit as many mobs, and looks like shit). and it was just released this year.

blessed hammer (d3 actually did it pretty good)

tornado in d2 still has not been added in the core game as a skill for poe, but there is some mobs in the library that use little twisters

i could go on lol

but in any event, just shows d2 is/was truly the king of aRPG skills imo.

e: shape shifting stuff is so fucking badass, can't believe they never implemented that stuff.

I don't think a Druid or Assassin was actually in Diablo's lore. I could be mistaking but I believe it was a curve ball like Blizzard adding Panadas to WOW. With that being said, I wish WOW was still in its Vanilla stage. Man, that game was so epic back then.
