you cannot get items without MF, it will take way too long.
3 os helm + 3/4 os armor, mf items gambled/shopped and you're set, not like nightmare req godly gear to be runned

This. If anything, with bonewall and a good merc, you can carry some MF items and then tp+put them on, then come back for the killing blow. Also decrep makes mfing so much more safe, as well as dim vision and a few other spells that help with c/c if you aren't using them now. Plus a good strong bone armor will help in MF gear for phys attacks at least.
